Kidderminster Worcestershire Roger Jackson as he was born came to London
to seek out Joe Meek to attain fame.Roger is a very Charismatic
character.Tall and imposing and ex Royal Grenadier.
Roger did eventually find Joe Meek at his studio in The Holloway Road North London,and offer his services as a Keyboard player.He got the Job replacing the brief member "Norman Hale".. His first recording was not a bad one "TELSTAR" FRom Then on it was all downhill Rogers Keyboard Playing is an Integral part of the Tornados.His sound was very unique for the time His greatest work being "Telstar" with magnificient peaks and Troughs of emotion . I like his rock n Roll Playing too listen to "My Babe" from The Tornados Rock EP Great rocking solo from Roger brilliant playing. Roger made a solo record with Joe Meek on The Decca Label called "Christmas Stocking" another thundering piece very powerful. After The Tornados Roger was one of the few celebrities, to ever match Errol Flynn. For powerful personality and Magnetism.A firm Ladies Favourite. He was next heard of In Mexico as El Lobo The Wolf a Piano Player and Hollywood Actor.He became very Famous in Mexico on ads and Films and Playing releasing many LP's whilst there. Unfortunately he suffered from crippling arthritis in his hands and had to come home.

His Fame and Fortune preceded him .Always in the Limelight.Never one to shirk a challenge Roger attempted the World Record for Playing The Piano for the longest time, and acheived it.I do not know if he still, holds the record.
